Charity Food Drive
NEOFRA is once again hosting a charity food drive at the MVRC to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley. We encourage teams and spectators to bring non-perishable food items and drop them off at the food donation table when they arrive.
We also accept donations of cash, check, or gift cards that can be used to purchase food items.
For teams competing for the "Most Charitable" awards, we will credit you at a rate of $2.00 per item for any monetary donations and have this item total added to any physical food items you bring. Some teams do not have space to bring physical items with them. Monetary donations will increase the total value of donations to the food bank. And $2 per item is likely much more expensive than most physical items teams bring, so this change will not exclude teams who've gathered lots of physical goods from being competitive for prizes. In the end though, it's all about helping out the food bank as much as we can!
PLEASE MAKE ALL CHECKS PAYABLE TO "SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK OF THE MAHONING VALLEY".
The most-needed food items are peanut butter, cereal, canned fruit and vegetables, canned soup, tuna fish, dry pasta, and macaroni and cheese. Come watch the competition and help out a great cause!

For Competing Teams:
We know you are busy preparing for the competition, but we certainly want our MVRC teams to join in the spirit of giving! Toward that end, the teams that donate the most items toward the food drive will earn cool prizes donated by AndyMark!
We will have you turn in your items to the pit administration table when you first check in. They will be counted and documented.
- First place will receive a $150 AndyMark gift certificate and recognition plaque.
- Second place will receive a $75 AndyMark gift certificate and recognition plaque.
- Third place will receive a $25 AndyMark gift certificate and recognition plaque.
